Kathlyn Wolgast
Hi, I’m Kathy, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California.
I work with adults and young adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of the people I work with are used to holding a lot on their own, and over time that can become overwhelming or difficult to untangle.
I care deeply about creating a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying. While many of the experiences we work through are shared and deeply human, I approach each person with care and intention, tailoring our work to support your specific needs and circumstances.
In our work together, I focus on helping you sort through what feels unclear and overwhelming, while also supporting you in taking steps toward change. I believe it’s possible to feel more steady, more confident in your decisions, and more connected to yourself—and I’m committed to walking alongside you as you move in that direction.

A steady place to sort through what’s been weighing on you.
A steady, thoughtful process where you’re both supported and guided.
What It’s Like to Work Together
At times, I will gently challenge patterns that are keeping you stuck, while supporting you in working through them step by step
You’ll have space to talk openly without feeling rushed, while we take time to understand what’s been weighing on you
I will ask thoughtful questions and reflect patterns that may not have been fully clear before
Building practical tools you can rely on outside of sessions, so the work continues in your day-to-day life
When you’re ready, we can start with a conversation.
If you’re considering therapy, we can begin by talking through what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for. From there, we can decide if working together feels like the right fit.
